
Marilyn Lopez is a creative brand marketing powerhouse with a global footprint. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked with the who’s who when it comes to music, lifestyle, business, and health & wellness.
Her journey began working at various labels including Virgin Records, Sony Music, and RCA. At RCA, she began working with iconic musicians that included Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and *NSYNC. As a publicist, she was part of the team that grew these acts into major global icons, spearheading various campaigns, activations, and tours that made these acts into multi-platinum, and Diamond selling acts.
She then went on to expand her experience in the agency world working with Award-Winning U.K. based agencies John Doe and Manifest where she focused on their U.S. and North American divisions and global consumer goods, business, lifestyle, celebrities, and global CPG brands including Beats By Dre, Cadillac, Siggi’s Yogurt and its Founder Siggi Hilmarson, Italian Coffee Brand illy and its CEO Andrea Illy, and Global Cultural Organization Liberatum whom she helped amplify global summits, festivals, and collaborations, working with a plethora of A-list notables including Naomi Campbell, Donna Karen, Felicity Jones, Tilda Swinton, and Richard Saul Wurman, the founder of TED Talks.
She also spearheaded Celebrity Influencer programs, PR, and Branding for Dream Hotels Global and its nightlife divisions which included PH-D and The Electric Room bringing national and global awareness through unique activations and celebrity and consumer engagements. She also represented W Hotels of New York with a focus on making the New York brand relevant in the competitive hospitality market. Through unique events, hotel packages, and celebrity and influencer programming, W Hotels of New York became the go-to hotel for New York’s influentials.


Lopez then launched TAG Collective, a fully integrated agency continuing to work with national and global brands with a passion for making a difference while creating within TAG a culture of creativity, and kindness. These brands included, VR World, NYC’s first Virtual Reality Space, Ainsworth Hospitality Group, Former CEO Brian Mazza turned Fitness Guru, Award-Winning CBD brand Charlotte’s Web, New Chapter, Farmbox Direct and its CEO Ashley Tyrner, Swizz Beatz and his company Good Intentions, activations for Airbnb’s Latin global icons Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee, and Hummer EV’s launch in Los Angeles. TAG also worked with Triller, Liteboxer, and The Williamsburg Hotel helping amplify these brands through activations, PR, and influencer programming.
This made Lopez and her team also the go-to for other agencies to whitelist TAG’s services from the U.S. to the United Kingdom. TAG became known as a “safe pair of hands.” With a passion for making a difference, Lopez and her team also worked in the non-profit and social impact sector with clients that included Equal Opportunity Schools, Safe Horizon, and the PowHerful Foundation.
Spirit brands that Lopez helped launch into national markets and created various immersive activations include Caso Noble, Bentley Heritage Distillery, Skull Vodka, Absolute Vodka, Vivino, Fun Wine, and Tanduay. She has also worked with various start-ups including Breaker, a hugely successful music platform. Her wide-ranging skills and experience have coined Marilyn as “a pair of safe hands” in the industry.
